Hello! My name is Elizabeth and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have been working with adults since 2004 in a case manager capacity and as a clinician with children, adults, and families since 2008. I am a bilingual native speaker (Spanish) and earned my MSW from University of Austin in 2008. I have worked as a clinician since graduating with honors. I strongly believe in creating a safe space for you to heal, to learn from each other, and help you reach your goals to lead a healthier life. I value authenticity, compassion, and will work to empower you. Many wonderful people have helped me reach goals that seemed impossible at the time and want to give back by helping others experiencing challenges in life.
What can members expect to take away from sessions with you?
In our first session, we will get to know each other, will discuss the reasons that brough you to counseling. In follow up sessions we will discuss your goals, your strengths, your interest, and create goals that you want to achieve in your work with me. During a psychological evaluation, we will carefully evaluate your condition and needs. I will provide a thorough evaluation that will help you or your provider make decisions for your care plan.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths?
My ability to build trust and close relationships has helped my clients feel safe in their healing process. This ability helps your healing process as trusting your counselor and knowing I truly care will help you mend parts of your life that need attending.
